GES re-opens Self Placement Portal for 2019 SHS Placements

Everyone should re-do the self placement. The PROTOCOL ADMISSIONS have been suspended for now

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has today, 12th September 2019 re-opened the Senior High School (SHS) Self Placement module of the Computerized School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS) . According to the Ghana Education Service, the Senior High School Self Placement module is now fully functional today Thursday 12th September 2019.

The Ghana Education earlier on closed the self-placement portal.

But it has been opened now.

They are however entreating all parents and students who did the self-placement between the periods of 9th and 11th September 2019 to go back to the self-placement module to to do the self-placement again as the initial one they did prior to the temporal closure on 11th September 2019 will not take effect.

In a letter signed by the Head of public relations unit of the Ghana Education Service (GES), Cassandra Twum Ampofo and dated 12th September 2019. The Ghana Education Service (GES) made the re-opening of the Senior High School self-placement module known to the general public on their Facebook page. The letter read:

The management of Ghana Education Service wishes to announce to students, parents and the general public that the Self-Placement Module on the School Placement Platform is up and running.

All students who did self placement between 9th and 11th September 2019 should go back to the self placement module to select a school.

Management of the Ghana Education Service (GES) wishes to sincerely apologize for all the inconveniences caused to students, parents and the general public who wish to access the Self-Placement Module.

NOTE: The PROTOCOL ADMISSIONS have been suspended for now.
